Kesar & Banganapalle — ship nationwide across all US states, depending on ripeness at time of shipping.

Alphonso (Hapus) — available for pickup only at our locations in New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY) and California (CA). Alphonso cannot be shipped due to its delicate nature.

Can I order Alphonso mangoes for delivery? +

No — Alphonso mangoes are pickup only at our NJ, NY, and CA locations. They cannot be shipped nationwide. For nationwide delivery, we recommend our Gir Kesar or Banganapalle varieties.

What information do I need to provide when ordering? +

Please provide a valid email address to receive your order confirmation and tracking number, a valid phone number for delivery coordination, and your full delivery address including ZIP code. Orders with incomplete contact details may experience delays.

How many boxes can I order? +

Each box contains 3 kg of mangoes (approximately 10–14 pieces). You can order multiple boxes. We recommend ordering early — stock is strictly limited to our farm's seasonal harvest in Dhari, Amreli, Gujarat. Once the season ends, mangoes are unavailable until the following year.

Can I send mangoes as a gift to someone else's address? +

Yes — simply enter the recipient's address at checkout. Make sure you also provide their phone number and email so they receive the tracking information and are ready to bring the box indoors immediately on delivery.

Which courier do you use? +

We ship exclusively via FedEx. We chose FedEx for its reliable express service and ability to handle perishable food shipments across the USA with speed and care.

How long does delivery take? +

Fulfilment time: Approximately 2–3 business days after your order is placed.
Shipping time: 2–5 days via FedEx once dispatched.
Total estimated time: 4–8 days from order to doorstep.

Orders are fulfilled in the order they were received, based on mango ripeness at time of shipping to ensure every customer receives the freshest possible mangoes.

Do you ship to all US states? +

Yes — Kesar and Banganapalle mangoes ship nationwide across all US states. Alphonso (Hapus) mangoes are pickup only at our NJ, NY, and CA locations and cannot be shipped.

How will I know when my order has shipped? +

You will receive an email with your FedEx tracking number as soon as your order has been fulfilled and is on its way. You can use this number on the FedEx website to track your delivery in real time. Make sure you provide a valid email address at checkout.

Why hasn't my order shipped yet? +

Orders are processed in the order they were received, and dispatched based on the ripeness of the mangoes at time of shipping. We do not ship unripe fruit — this is how we guarantee quality. If your order has not shipped within 3 business days, please contact us and we will provide an update.

What should I do when my box arrives? +

Bring the box indoors immediately — do not leave it outside or in your car.
Do not refrigerate — cold temperatures stop the ripening process.
Avoid direct sunlight — keep in a cool, shaded room.
Leave at room temperature for 2–3 days until the mangoes are fragrant at the stem and slightly soft to the touch. Then refrigerate 1 hour before eating.

My order was delayed by FedEx. What happens? +

We understand shipping delays are frustrating. However, please note: All Sales Are Final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credit card chargebacks due to shipping delays or the condition of mangoes upon delivery. Shipping delays caused by FedEx are outside our control. We ship the freshest possible mangoes and pack them to survive transit. If you have concerns, please contact us and we will do our best to assist within our policy.

What mango varieties do you sell? +

We currently offer three varieties:
Gir Kesar Mango — the Queen of Mangoes. GI-tagged, saffron-orange pulp, naturally tree-ripened. Ships nationwide USA.
Alphonso Mango (Hapus) — the King of Mangoes. Rich, creamy, fiber-free pulp. Pickup only at NJ, NY, CA locations.
Banganapalle Mango (Benishan) — large golden fruit, smooth honey-sweet pulp. Ships nationwide USA.

What is GI-tagged and why does it matter? +

GI stands for Geographical Indication — a certification that a product originates from a specific region with qualities tied to that location. Our Kesar mangoes come from Dhari taluka, Amreli district, Gujarat — one of India's officially GI-tagged Kesar growing zones since 2011. This means our mangoes are the real thing — grown in the certified soil and climate that gives Kesar its signature saffron colour, floral aroma, and honey sweetness.

Are your mangoes treated with calcium carbide? +

Absolutely not. Calcium carbide is illegal in India and harmful to health. We have never used it and never will. Every mango we sell is naturally tree-ripened on our farm in Morzar, Dhari, Amreli — picked only when it is genuinely ready. What you receive is exactly what we'd serve at our own table.

How much do I get per box? +

Each box contains 3 kg of mangoes — approximately 10–14 pieces depending on the natural size of the fruit that season. Every mango is individually net-wrapped for protection and packed in our branded Pure Mango Magic export box.

When is mango season? +

Indian mango season typically runs from late April through June. Our Kesar harvest from Dhari, Amreli is available during this window. Stock is strictly limited to what our farm produces each season — once it's gone, it's gone until the following year. We strongly recommend ordering early.

Why do the mangoes arrive green? +

This is completely normal and is actually a sign of quality. We ship mangoes at the optimal ripeness stage for transit — slightly underripe so they ripen perfectly by the time you eat them. Leave at room temperature for 2–3 days. You will notice the skin turning golden-yellow and a strong floral fragrance at the stem — that is when they are ready. Do not refrigerate before they are ripe.

What is the difference between Kesar and Alphonso? +

Kesar (Queen of Mangoes): Saffron-orange pulp, floral aroma, honey-sweet with a slightly tangy finish. GI-tagged from the Gir region of Gujarat. Ships nationwide USA.

Alphonso / Hapus (King of Mangoes): Deeper golden pulp, richer and creamier texture, intense sweetness, zero fibre. Pickup only — NJ, NY, CA.

Both are considered the finest mango varieties in the world. If you can't pick, try Kesar — it travels better and ships directly to your door anywhere in the USA.

Where is your farm located? +

Our mango orchard is located at Morzar village (મોરઝર), Dhari Taluka, Amreli District, Gujarat, India. This places us inside one of India's officially GI-tagged Kesar mango growing zones — in the Gir forest belt of Saurashtra, which is widely regarded as producing the world's finest Kesar mangoes.

Are you a farm or a reseller? +

We are the farm. Pure Mango Magic grows the mangoes we sell — we are not importers, distributors, or resellers. Every box ships directly from our orchard in Morzar, Dhari. There are no middlemen, no cold storage warehouses, and no third-party importers in our supply chain. Farm to box to your US door.

What makes Dhari, Amreli special for Kesar mangoes? +

Dhari taluka sits at the edge of the Gir forest. The combination of the red laterite soil, the microclimate created by the forest, the warm dry air of Saurashtra, and the mineral-rich groundwater creates conditions that cannot be replicated anywhere else. This is precisely why the Indian government awarded Gir Kesar its GI tag in 2011 — to protect and certify this unique origin.

Do you use any pesticides or fertilisers? +

Our farming practices prioritise quality and safety. We never use calcium carbide or any artificial ripening agent. Our mangoes are naturally tree-ripened and handpicked at peak ripeness. If you have specific questions about our farming methods, please reach out to us via the contact page — we are happy to answer directly.

How do I ripen my mangoes after delivery? +

Step 1 — Bring the box indoors immediately on delivery.
Step 2 — Remove individual net wrapping and place mangoes in a single layer at room temperature.
Step 3 — Wait 2–3 days. The mangoes are ready when they are slightly soft to the touch and have a strong floral fragrance at the stem end.
Step 4 — Once ripe, refrigerate for 1 hour before eating for the best experience.

Can I put the mangoes in the fridge when they arrive? +

No — do not refrigerate unripe mangoes. Cold temperatures halt the natural ripening process and can damage the flavour and texture permanently. Only refrigerate once the mango is fully ripe (soft, fragrant). Once ripe, mangoes can be stored in the fridge for 2–3 days.

How long do the mangoes last? +

At room temperature (unripe): 2–3 days to ripen.
At room temperature (ripe): 1–2 days maximum.
In the refrigerator (ripe): 2–3 days.

We recommend consuming the mangoes over a few days for the best flavour. You can freeze peeled and sliced mango pulp for up to 3 months.

Some of my mangoes ripened unevenly — is this normal? +

Yes — this is completely natural. Unlike chemically-ripened fruit which ripens uniformly, naturally ripened mangoes ripen at slightly different rates. This is actually a sign that your mangoes have not been treated with any artificial agents. Simply eat the riper ones first and let the others continue at room temperature.

What is your refund policy? +

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credit card chargebacks due to shipping delays or the condition of mangoes upon delivery. Mangoes are a fresh perishable product and we ship them at peak quality. We cannot control delays caused by FedEx or conditions after delivery. Please read all product information, shipping timelines, and storage instructions carefully before placing your order.

Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it? +

Orders are processed quickly to ensure freshness. If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us immediately via the contact page. We will do our best to accommodate changes before your order enters fulfilment. Once an order has been fulfilled and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified.

What if my box arrives damaged? +

If your box arrives with visible damage caused during shipping, please photograph the box and mangoes immediately and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. While our policy is all sales final, we take quality seriously and will review cases of genuine transit damage on a case-by-case basis. Do not discard the packaging or mangoes before contacting us.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale orders? +

Yes — we welcome bulk and wholesale enquiries. If you are a restaurant, grocery store, Indian community organisation, or corporate gifting buyer, please reach out to us via the contact page with your requirements and we will get back to you with availability and pricing during the season.
